The Ten Tribes lost awareness of their ancestry. This needs to be restored to them. They do not recognize themselves as Hebrews, why should others?
In principle your friend is right. Jews who can come to Israel preferably should do so. They should also keep the Law according to how the Jewish Religion explains it.
Legally anyone who has a Jewish grandparent can become an Israeli citizen.
We have met non-Jews in Israel who pretended to be Jewish, or admitted they were not Jewish but asked for a special exemption, who also became citizens.
As a favor to Putin and in order to counter-balance the rising Ultra-Orthodox birthrate quite a few Russian Gentiles are also accepted.
Incidentally, see the recent remarks by former Presidential Candidate, Niki Haley, who on a visit to Israel said:

Only 20 to 30% of the Jewish Population now in Israel would agree with this, however.
At all events, this is not what we are about.
Brit-Am/Hebrew Awareness is concerned with proving who the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel are and spreading that knowledge among them and also to the Jewish public.

Shalom, I just found you youtube channel on youtube and absolutely loved the subject about the connections about the Finns and the lost tribes of israel. I come from a Brazilian family, which left the Iberian Peninsula some 500 years ago. We have many jewish customs and indeed we believe that we are jews from Sefarad (Spain). I formally converted ka'halacha (acccording to Jewish law) and live as an orthodox jew in Canada.
Interestingly, haplogroup X is vastly found amongst the Druze from Northern Israel and also in humans remains of Abel Beit Maachah from the Iron Age https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_X_(mtDNA)
I am haplotype x2c1 which is more commons amongst Finns and Swedes.

4. Answer to Quora Query. Why do the Palestinians not simply leave?
Is there a reason why the Palestinian people cannot be allowed to emigrate to other Arab nations? This marriage with Israel doesn't appear to be working out; maybe a change of scenery would help the Palestinian people.
Brit-Am Answer:
The Palestinians exist in order to interfere with the Jews returning to their Land. Jews had always remained in the Holy Land, and made intermittent attempts to increase their numbers. After the Balfour Declaration (1917) and the institution of British Rule the number of Jews in the area grew.
The Arabs were against them. If it had have been Arabs against other Arabs, or even Arabs versus Christians (as in Lebanon), we would hardly have heard about it.
This may be exemplified by the case of Syria where since 2011 about 12 million Arab Muslims have been dislocated with over 5 million driven out of the country. And nobody really cares or says anything!
Because Jews are involved the whole world makes "Palestine" its own business.
Not only that but more often than not they find excuses to blame the Jews.
This is despite the fact that the Jews can easily prove that from an objective point of view they are not to blame.
The Palestinians Arabs could easily migrate to other places just like their brothers in Syria since 2011 are doing. The Palestinians would even (unlike their brothers in Syria) be very generously assisted to move out to almost anywhere else. The world however would not allow it because then the Jews would benefit and the State of Israel be unhindered
People who are against Israel are really simply anti-Jewish. The Jews are the canary in the cage.
It is time to face up to the truth.
The majority of humanity are against the Jews because they are as not as good as them and they know it.
In WW2 a Nazi official complained about the Jews to the King of Denmark and pondered why the Danes were not anti-Jewish?
The King replied:
"Each country get the Jews it deserves. Denmark go the best."

The Danes did not feel inferior to the Jews therefore they did not hate them.

This is attributed to the Tribe of Zebulon by the most accepted opinions (HaGara and Ha-Arizal).

The month of Sivan includes the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost, Sivan 6) which is also noted as being the Feast of Firstfruits and reading the Book of Ruth.
Shavuot was the day ion which the Children of Israel received the Torah when they were in the wilderness.

4. Answer to Quora Query. Why do the Palestinians not simply leave?
Is there a reason why the Palestinian people cannot be allowed to emigrate to other Arab nations? This marriage with Israel doesn�t appear to be working out; maybe a change of scenery would help the Palestinian people.
The Palestinians exist in order to interfere with the Jews returning to their Land. Jews had always remained in the Holy Land, and made intermittent attempts to increase their numbers. After the Balfour Declaration (1917) and the institution of British Rule the number of Jews in the area grew.
The Arabs were against them. If it had have been Arabs against other Arabs, or even Arabs versus Christians (as in Lebanon), we would hardly have heard about it.
This may be exemplified by the case of Syria where since 2011 about 12 million Arab Muslims have been dislocated with over 5 million driven out of the country. And nobody really cares or says anything!
Because Jews are involved the whole world makes "Palestine" its own business.
Not only that but more often than not they find excuses to blame the Jews.
This is despite the fact that the Jews can easily prove that from an objective point of view they are not to blame.
The Palestinians Arabs could easily migrate to other places just like their brothers in Syria since 2011 are doing. The Palestinians would even (unlike their brothers in Syria) be very generously assisted to move out to almost anywhere else. The world however would not allow it because then the Jews would benefit and the State of Israel be unhindered
People who are against Israel are really simply anti-Jewish. The Jews are the canary in the cage.
It is time to face up to the truth.
The majority of humanity are against the Jews because they are as not as good as them and they know it.
In WW2 a Nazi official complained about the Jews to the King of Denmark and pondered why the Danes were not anti-Jewish?
The King replied:
"Each country get the Jews it deserves. Denmark go the best."

The Danes did not feel inferior to the Jews therefore they did not hate them.
We know what that says about all those who are against the Je3ws and Israel, do we not?
Isaiah ch. 53 depicts a figure symbolic of the Jewish People in Exile.

1 WHO WOULD HAVE BELIEVED OUR REPORT, AND TO WHOM WAS THE ARM OF THE LORD REVEALED?

Jews are actually quite a handsome and fair-minded people but there are exceptions. These exceptions are often depicted as �typical.�
3 DESPISED AND REJECTED BY MEN, A MAN OF PAINS AND ACCUSTOMED TO ILLNESS, AND AS ONE WHO HIDES HIS FACE FROM US, DESPISED AND WE HELD HIM OF NO ACCOUNT. The Jews was despised and rejected. He was discriminated against the same way as the State of Israel is persecuted and condemned for not justifiable reason.
4 INDEED, HE BORE OUR ILLNESSES, AND OUR PAINS-HE CARRIED THEM, YET WE ACCOUNTED HIM AS PLAGUED, SMITTEN BY GOD AND OPPRESSED. The Jew was often made to suffer for the sins of others. Jewish behavior for better or for worse was often the outcome of external constraints imposed upon them by their Gentiles overseers and neighbors.
5 BUT HE WAS PAINED BECAUSE OF OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, CRUSHED BECAUSE OF OUR INIQUITIES; THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR WELFARE WAS UPON HIM, AND WITH HIS WOUND WE WERE HEALED. In struggling for his own vindication the Jew often incidentally helped all of humanity.

The Jews were often massacred. Even now the Arab Palestinians and all their allies want to massacre the Jews.

We all need to repent and correct our nefarious actions. The Jews are not to blame for the troubles of the world. On the contrary.
9 AND HE GAVE HIS GRAVE TO THE WICKED, AND TO THE WEALTHY WITH HIS KINDS OF DEATH, BECAUSE HE COMMITTED NO VIOLENCE, AND THERE WAS NO DECEIT IN HIS MOUTH.
The Jews are classified with the wicked even though relatively speaking they did not harm but rather very much good. They brought healing to humanity and humanity does not like it.
10 AND THE LORD WISHED TO CRUSH HIM, HE MADE HIM ILL; IF HIS SOUL MAKES ITSELF RESTITUTION, HE SHALL SEE CHILDREN, HE SHALL PROLONG HIS DAYS, AND GOD'S PURPOSE SHALL PROSPER IN HIS HAND.
11 FROM THE TOIL OF HIS SOUL HE WOULD SEE, HE WOULD BE SATISFIED; WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE MY SERVANT WOULD VINDICATE THE JUST FOR MANY, AND THEIR INIQUITIES HE WOULD BEAR.

5. New Hebrew Month of Sivan.
June 7 th, 2024, is the New Month day of Sivan, 5784.
This is attributed to the Tribe of Zebulon by the most accepted opinions (HaGara and Ha-Arizal).
Others ascribe the month of Sivan to Ephraim (Midrash Peliah) or Levi (Rabad).
The month of Sivan includes the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost, Sivan 6) which is also noted as being the Feast of Firstfruits and reading the Book of Ruth.
Shavuot was the day ion which the Children of Israel received the Torah when they were in the wilderness.
This year Shavuot takes place from sunset June 11, 2024 to sunset June 12.
