I'M ABOUT ONE QUARTER IRISH ON MY MOTHER'S FATHER'S SIDE. HE WAS BORN IN 1903 AND HE SAID AS A YOUNG TEEN IN BOSTON AROUND 1912-1918 THEY HAD SIGNS--- IRISH NEED NOT APPLY. THERE WAS A LOT OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE IRISH AND THE JEWS AND ITALIANS. BUT THE IRISH, JEWS AND ITALIANS HELPED BUILD AMERICA THROUGH LABOR, INDUSTRY, INVENTIONS, AND IN PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY AS JUDGES, DOCTORS, LAWYERS, POLICEMAN, ETC. ANOTHER TRIAIT IF RHE OLD SCHOOL IRISH WAS THAT THEY WERE EXTREMELY FRUGAL, AS WERE THE JEWS AND GENTILES ITALIANS.

The Hebrew people didn�t �find� God. God �revealed� himself to Abraham. Abraham wasn�t looking for God. He was quite comfortable there in Haran. God took him out of his comfort zone to test him. Every single blessing in every single nation of Israel, past, present or future is the result of the Almighty God keeping His unconditional promises to the great patriarch Abraham for his unflinching trust and obedience to the Great God(Genesis 22:10-18). It certainly hasn�t been as the result of any righteousness on the part of any Hebrews including America, Britain, Judah or any other Israelite nation.

Appalachian Jews my family. They fought as Jews in WW2. Schafferstown Jews my family. Swiss Crypto Jews my family. The newest branch are Jews that came from Frankfurt Germany in the 1940's hiding as Christians. Google all groups. All groups hid as Christians accept the Appalachian group. 2 groups are in Mennonite Amish communities. Sorry for my English grew up in PA Dutch communty being Mennonite in public but Jewish at home. Went to Mennonite School but Jewish at home. All groups faced Christian persecution a accept Schafferstown Jews who hid as Amish Mennonites too. The Hershey Family has a good book on this subject. I have author. Mennonites keep complete clan records. Clans are the families not churches. Some family buried in reform synagogues. Some family got involved in Messianic group. Most think hiding is our way and I think not.

@fredharvey2720 One can google these days and get a precise academic answer. The heart of Appalachia would be West Virgina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Western Virginia. I would say from from State College Pa down threw the Appalachian Mountains to Georgia. Garrett County, Deer Park, Maryland is my location Grandfather from. Him and relatives in MD, PA, WV had WW2 Jewish Servicemen Cards for the USA. His brother is on a memorial for Jews who back then wounded in combat in WW2. Sorry for my English. Large Pittsburgh Jewish community and Huntington WV has growing community but alot of small mountain synagogues closing. Pottsville PA and Bluefield WV synagogue closings as examples. Sunbury in Northumberland still has synagogue and is headquarters for Weis Markets founded by a Jew. Mount Carmel PA synagogue relics sold on facebook marketplace here. Redneck or mountain Jews still exist but changing happening fast.

I can track my European bloodline back to Germany and Norway. Some folks still in Europe can trace their blood to King David. We are a stiff-necked culture for sure. When I read Exodus, it is like reading about people that are my family. I know why Judah has a place of honor and I know his brothers have zeal as well.

Sepharad is the legacy of the family of David HaMelech, in Obadiah is mentioned explicitly and in commentaries that the exile of the tribes went as far as Spain and Portugal, and portugal is one of the biggest presence of haplogroup R1b associated with Yoseph HaTzaddik. I'm son of marrano jews and myself I don't consider that I belong to the tribe of Judah, because im socialist and I like many left wing ideologies, and can't be that as a member of Yehudah because Judah is chessed, right wing. Social Justice principles are rooted in the left pillar of Gevurah, that's the tribes of Yoseph, especially Ephraim. Simcha Jacobovici also found clues of the tribe of Gad in Cadiz Spain, that went there way before the christian era and one of the messianic figures try to persuade them to return to Israel and didn't follow him.

I hope you will appreciate what I'm about to tell you. We have tested 15 different families in the Southeast US from Alabama , the Carolinas, Virginia, West Virginia Tennessee, Kentucky. This was autosomal DNA. We tested rural families ( to avoid the possible affects of inward migration)who have been in their places since the Civil War. Every individual was related to Jewish populations and matched DNA from Israel. All matched Iberia, Berber, Arab and all matched Cherokee, Miwok, Athabaskin Indian. Interestingly, none had British or Western Europe to any substantial amount. We don't understand this. I'm amusing we are descendants of Sephardim who came here without being noticed. Many of us are returning/converting. My family has all converted and we love being Jews. There are apparently millions of us in the Americas. And we American men are circumcised so we have the mark of the covenant. But most of us can trace a British Ancestor thru x and y chromosomes. Autosomally we are more native American and Iberian and North African. I am an Anglophile and love all things British.

Me too. Interesting pattern. My match was Sioux, though, not Cherokee. That and Algonquian mostly. 3-5% Jewish depending on test. Dozens of Jewish cousins.
