Is it true that Esau is Rome, so is Esau Christianity?

The Talmud and Midrashim in numerous places identify the Romans with descendants of Esau. The Romans themselves according to these sources agreed with the identification.
Esau was also known as Edom. In later Jewish Tradition all Christians at times could be referred to as
"Edomites." Some (such as Abarbanel, 1437-1508) ) say the early Christians were Idumeans, i.e. Edomites.
Consequently Christianity could be identified with Esau. It is more likely however that since Roman Catholicism took control of early Christianity that all Christians were named Edomites in honor of Rome.
Who was Esau?
The lineage of Esau begins with Abraham the first Hebrew. The wife of Abraham was Sarah whose handmaiden was named Hagar. From Hagar Abraham begat Ishmael the forefather of many of the Arabs and of Mahomed.
From Sarah Abraham begat Isaac.
Isaac married Rebecca. When Rebecca was pregnant with twins she was told that two nations would be born from her who would struggle with each other.
The two sons were Jacob and Esau who was red and hairy. The name "Edom" means "Red."
Esau was a hunter whereas Jacob was more studious. Isaac, who was blind favored, Esau. He intended to bless him. Rebecca however persuaded Jacob to pretend to be Esau and receive the Blessing instead. Unbeknown to Isaac, Jacob had already bought the right of the Firstborn from Esau. After Isaac had blessed Jacob Esau came in and Isaac learned what had happened. Isaac then confirmed the blessing to Jacob. Esau then announced that Jacob had already previously acquired the Right of the
Birthright further confirming the Blessing.

38 AND ESAU SAID TO HIS FATHER, "HAVE YOU [but] ONE BLESSING, MY FATHER?
BLESS ME TOO, MY FATHER." AND ESAU RAISED HIS VOICE AND WEPT.

Jacob received the Blessing. He was renamed 'Israel' and begat 12 sons who gave rise to the 12 Tribes of Israel. These divided into two sections:
Judah from who came the present-day Jews.
The Lost Ten Tribes headed by Joseph. They were the forebears of West European entities as well as
Britain and America.
Esau moved away and at first occupied the area of Seir southeast of Judah. This was know as "Idumea" to the Romans. Esau begat several sons from different wives. He intermixed with the Hittites, Horites (Hurrians), and descendants of Seir, see Genesis ch. 36. In addition to the area of Idumea, Esau also gave rise to entities such as Phoenician Tyre, and other groups in Northern Syria and Turkey, and as entities in Babylonia and Assyria.
The Talmud (Megilla 6) may be understood to say that both the Romans and Germans descend from Esau. The early Germans worshipped Wotan (Odin) who was also known as "KOZ." This is another way of pronouncing the name 'Esau' and was the cognomen the Idumeans gave to their ancestral-god.
Other sources trace the Germans to Ashkenaz son of Japhet son of Noah, and to Magog - also from Japhet. It would seem that the Germans derive from different ancestors.
The Spartans and Romans also descended from Esau. The Spartans gave rise to several groups who helped in the foundation of Rome. One of these is the Sabines. Porcius Cato (ca. 230 BCE) is quoted as saying that the Sabines in Italy were named after Sabus, the son of Sancus. The name Sabus is similar to that of Tsepho [i.e. 'Zepho'] son of Eliphaz son of Esau (Genesis 36:11). Dionysius ca. 30 BCE also traced the Sabians to a group who had fled from Sparta (in Lacedaemonia, Greece). The Sabines were noted for their belligerence and frugality which traits the Romans supposed they derived from their Spartan ancestors. Plutarch (in the Life of Numa Pompilius) remarks, "Sabines, who declare themselves to be a colony of the Lacedaemonians..." LA TOUR D'AUVERGNE, "Originnes Gauloises", Hamburg, 1801, states that the Romans owe their origins to the Albanes of Latinium in Peloponesus (southern Greece), - descendants of the Lacedaemonian-Spartans and to the Ausones also from Esau. They migrated to Italy where they intermixed with the Sabines and Umbrians who also merged with the Romans.
A collection of popular Ancient Jewish legends, known as "Sefer Ha-Yashar" attributed the founding of Rome to Zepho grandson of Esau. The Romans themselves also acknowledged Esau as their ancestor and may have identified Zepho of Edom with Sabus of the Sabines.
Roman origins as they have come down to us traced their ancestry back to Aeneas of Troy from whom via their mother came the twins Romulus and Remus. Their father was Mars, the god of warfare. Romulus killed Remus and built the city of Rome on seven hills. Many men who had been rejected from their own societies congregated in Rome but lacked women. They abducted females from the neighboring Sabines and Latins. Eventually the Sabines made peace with them. A portion of the settled among the early Romans. The others were later conquered and absorbed by Rome. The Sabines were descended from Sparta.
Hitler in his own perverse way was widely-read and considered Ancient Sparta (and not primitive Germany) the ideal to be emulated.
The Albanes also came from Sparta and they too settled in Rome. An ancient link
between Rome and Sparta existed. So too in 1-Maccabees 12:5 (see also Josephus, Antiquities 13;5;8).) it speaks of Sparta acknowledging a blood relationship with Judah and Rome making overtures to Judea at about the same as those of Sparta. This makes sense considering the Esau and Israel (father of Judah) were twin brothers. Ancient Britain was settled by descendants of Israel but elements from Esau were also present. Israel had divided into two sections: (1) Judah from whom come the present-day Jews, and (2) The Lost Ten Tribes. The Ten Tribes had been exiled by the Assyrians.
The Assyrians used Phoenicians from Tyre and Philistines of Minoan and Mycenaean culture to re-settle Israelites in overseas colonies in the west. In these areas they were to be subject to Edomites. Amos ch.1 speaks of the Philistine centers such as Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, and 'the rest of the Philistines' who were all condemned because they had delivered the entire population of Israel to Edom. The Phoenicians of Tyre had done the same (Amos 1:9). Sanchuniathon (ca. 300 BCE) speaks of Ousoos (i.e. Esau) and the 'Tent-Maker Sameroumous' (i.e. northern Israel in Samaria) having settled in Tyre. Aylett Sammes (1636-1679) stated that the early settlers of Britain were primarily Israelites exiled by the Assyrians.

Later came the Phoenicians who were also known as "Idumaeans" or "Idumaeans from Tyre". Sammes relied mainly on Greek and Roman writers who in turn, he says, must have been using Phoenician records. The Phoenicians in Britain mined tin, copper, and other minerals. The Great Orme copper mine in Wales supplied much of the copper used in ancient times. Child labor of Captive Israelites with Phoenician Edomite overseers was involved. Within walking distance of the Great Orme is Castell Caer Seion (on Conway Mountain) which in Welsh tradition had been a settlement of Jews.
