1. New Article. SAMBATION. The Sambation River in Biblical Codes
Extracts:
The Sambation River was one of three regions, according to the Sages, in which the Ten Tribes were to be found. A related designation was 'Beyond the River Sambation' Â i.e. by the River Sambation and Beyond the River Sambation were two separate regions. The Sambation was a name given at first to the Lower Zab River in Western Iran and later to the Don River (or neighboring rivers such as the Danaster, etc) in the Scythian region of southern Russia.
See:
Sambation. Talmudic Sages tell us where the Ten Tribes went to!
IN Rabbinical thought, The concept Sambation referred to actual geographical locations as well as the situation of one section of the Lost Ten Tribes in a figurative sense.
We searched for Sambation in the Bible Codes. ... We saw a link between the name Sambation, Joseph, Samaria, the Ten Tribes, Denmark, and America. A more serious study of the subject could well bring up even more impressive results.

2. Orjan Svensson: More Possible Associations of Bleking (in southern Sweden) with the Tribe of Asher
Re: Brit-Am Now no. 2093. Ten Tribes Studies.
The Tribe of Asher
 Shalom,
Â
Concerning the possible connection between Blekinge and Asher I could also add that Blekinge is known as the "Garden of (Sw)eden". This fits well with what Fishel Mael wrote according to you: "In the land of Asher most agriculture was horticulture (tree fruits) rather than market gardening and other farm work." In western Blekinge existed before a factory for production of apple juice and apple production in Sweden is highest in Asterlen, to the south west of Blekinge close to Bornholm. According to some old maps Asterlen actually belonged to Blekinge in ancient times.
A part of western Blekinge is called Braakne, which possibly could have something to do with Beriah, son of Asher. There are also some placenames based on the root As or A..s, such as Asarum.
To the north Blekinge borders to Varend, which is considered as the "possible Warnic homeland", see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varni. Varend is one of the small lands which form the province of Smaland. The inhabitants of Varend are called "virdar" in Swedish, but no certain etymologi is given concerning the meaning of Varend or vird.
I have now a suspiction that the name Varend could have arisen from Arodi, son of Gad.
A man with a related name was Ard, son of Benjamin, and on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vayeshev i read: "A son was called Ard, because Joseph descended (yarad) among the peoples. Others explain that he was called Ard, because Joseph's face was like a rose (vered)."
The difference in pronounciation between vered and Varend is only the additional n in Varend. Just to the west of Varend is a small municipality known as Horda. This place could possibly have gotten its name from Ha-Arudi in the same way as Hordaland in Norway, which you traced from Arudi.
Â
Regards,
Orjan
