1. Trevor Barnes: Why Did You Leave Australia?
Subject: Australia
Hello Yair,
On a personal note.I have just returned on a campervan trip travelling from Brisbane all along the coast down the south coast all the way back to Perth. We travelled 7514 kms and it is really a beautiful country of diversity in landscapes. The country unlike South Africa is not overcrowded. It is the best of 7 countries I have visited and definitely a consideration if I had to emigrate. My brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws' and daughter and son in law say they will never come back to South Africa. I don't blame them.
My question to you Yair, why did you leave the beauty of Australia to live in Israel? You can't really compare the 2 countries except if you really looking deep into Historical or archaeological facts of the Bible like I did when I visited Israel in 2010 but would not consider living there permanently.Smile.
Bless you
Trevor Barnes

Brit-Am Reply:
I do not remember Australia as more attractive than Israel. On the contrary. To each his own... Israel is the center of the earth and in a small radius encompasses aspects of many other countries.

Subject: Timing
Dear Yair,
I have expressed these thoughts to you before, but as things are developing, I want to bring them to your attention once more.
Daniel 2 gives an overview of the entire human history from Nebuchadnezzar onwards. The legs of iron that began with the Roman Empire in the power centers of Roma and Constantinople, continued in the dual power bases of Russia in the east, and England, then the USA in the west. Israelite elements have been present in both legs.
End Quote.

Peace Yair,
Concerning the message of this guy above, I don't want to delve on it in detail but, concerning the vision of Daniel, he seems to connect it with the rise of China and India or, I don't think ''Daniels' giant'' refers to any other imperial tradition than the, let's say, ''middle-oriental-european'' one.
From Babilon we go down to Rome, so much is clear.
The last empire - we Christians call it the antichristic one - must claim itself from Rome too.
Here in our Orthodox church we long had an entire philosophy according to which no Apocalypse is possible until the last Cesar dies. The Antichrist must claim himself as Cesar and for that, the legitimate line of Cesars must end first. Most of the Cesars were a nasty bunch but they were keeping the imperial claim occupied.
Now, Rome fell long ago but not so Constantinople which only did in 1453.
The last elements of the Constantinopolitan Cesars merged with the Russian Czars in the 1470s. They received the benediction of the Orthodox church as such.
So, the last Cesar was Nicholas Romanov. So was - although less legitimately since there was a significant gap between Romulus Augustulus and Charlemagne - Wilhelm of Germany.
Both fell in 1917-18 and the nastiness of history precipitated from then on.
The whole vision of Daniel represents empires that claim their legitimacy one from the other.
I don't think the Hindus will ever amount to much, politically and militarily speaking.
The Chinese are another matter, I'm sure Gog and Magog refers to them, but their imperial tradition is very long and venerable, and also very distinct. Nothing to do whatsoever with the ''Middle-East-Europe universe''.
So I don't think their rise to power has anything to do with Daniel's giant. It has to do, however, with Ezekiel's Gog-Magog.
Food for thought.
All the best,
Cristian

5. Hebrew Nations is what there is!
We believe and prove that:
The Ten Tribes are in the West.
We have:
Biblical Proof.
Rabbinical Evidence.
Secular Confirmation from nearly every field that is pertinent.
Even DNA to some degree strengthens our case though it also involves problematic points. We believe that the doctrine of DNA immutability is mistaken and will be changed shortly.
At all events we emphasize physical, irrevocable descent.
Every person and each group has their own individuality.
At present we are the only body that believes in the above, researches the subject, and carries out a policy of publicizing it.

 6. Patrick (Powell) Riley: Notes on Pronunciation
Subject: Pronunciation
I have noticed for a long time that names in the Bible are long and cumbersome. I also noticed on a trip to England and Wales, especially Wales, that names there were also long and cumbersome. An example would be the word 'Chumaigemley', pronounced Chumley. It then hit me one day. Pronunciation carries through the generations. In Israel you have a personality by the name Feiglin. Using Irish pronunciation I got 'Flynn'. I also determined that anything that starts with 'O, HO,Mic, Mac', is likely better pronounced in Irish or Scottish. Eg: Micah would be McCaw, or maybe McKay. I'm thinking the Scythians might be Scotians as in Nova Scotia, Canada. How about 'Hoseah'? Could it be O'Shea?
Â
Notice in the English Language that we don't pronounce vowels and we don't even know it. How about such wrds as Englnd? Â
One name really hit home with me: 'Jericho'. As usual the J is like a Y. Yericho. Make the i like an e. Change the ch to a k, and pronounce the o like the o in dove. What you get is 'Eureka', which is a loud shout in the old mining community when they found gold.
Â
I've found this very interesting and helps clinch the thought of ties between the present state of Israel and the ancient state of Israel.
