1. ICJS, Issues of Concern for Justice and Society, a new Facebook Blog Worth Viewing
Our friend from way back in Australia, Meyer Rafael, has set up a new Facebook Group of interest and value.
ICJS
Issues of Concern for Justice and Society
https://www.facebook.com/pages/ICJS/167922853404323
ICJS researches, analyzes and archives issues concerning imbalance in media presentation of current affairs. Recent examples are inequitable treatment of Israel in diplomatic affairs, the Arab Spring, Islamism, Palestinian mythology, lack of fairness in UN and associated bodies. media manipulation of NGOs and fairness in reporting from ABC.
Highly Recommended.

2. David McLeod: Are both the USA and Britain Ephraim?
Re: Brit-Am Now no. 2120: Ten Tribes Studies
I thought that only the UK is Ephraim, while the USA is Manasseh?
David

Brit-Am Reply:
We understand that Britain and British offshoots was the specific grouping through which the Tribe of Ephraim gave expression to itself. The USA from this point of view is Manasseh. It may be that numerically descendants of Ephraim amongst the Israelites in the USA are the more numerous.
A joint action by the USA and Britain etc may reflect Ephraim in the Biblical sense even though Manasseh and other Tribes are also participating.
The term Ephraim can also refer in some contexts to the Ten Tribes in general.

(a) New Article. D8: Different Tribal Roles. An Important Message!
Nitsavim (Weekly Portion) Deuteronomy 29:10-30:20
Extracts:
## the leaders of your tribes: The expression "of your tribes" would appear to be superfluous...rather it comes to teach us that each tribe and its heads are not judged the same as the others. Each tribe is judged according to its own nature and according to that quality it was recognized to be most adhering to. It is judged by the extent of its deviation from its own special characteristic. This is similar to the message of Amos...
It was predicted that if Israel did not keep the commandments they would be cast out into an "Eretz Acheret" which is translatable from the Hebrew as meaning both "another land" (Deuteronomy 29:28) and/or a "New World". The Mishna (Sanhedrin 10) opines that the verse in Deuteronomy refers to the Lost Ten Tribes who are destined to remain in "Eretz Acheret" until close to the End Times. The American hemisphere when first revealed in our era to European eyes was known as "The New World".  Deuteronomy (29:28) and the Mishna, may be therefore understood as saying that the Lost Ten Tribes would be mainly in "The New World" (i.e. "Eretz Acheret") after its discovery (or re-discovery) by Europeans since only then did the term become applicable. It follows that either North or South America was intended as a place of exile and all other evidence points to North and Western Europe and North America.Â

(b) YouTube Clip. D8 Nitsavim. Individual and Tribal Obligations
Duration: 27.01Â minutes
Judah and the Ten Tribes have different roles. A Covenant was made with all the descendants of Israel including those who were destined to be born or to attach themselves to Israel. The presence of the Ten Tribes in the End Times in North America (the New World) was predicted.
See: D8: Different Tribal Roles, Nitsavim, Deuteronomy 29:10-30:20

4. Ireland, DNA, the Bible, and History
Reply by Clifford Riley followed by Remarks from Yair

Clifford Riley wrote:
Dear Yair,
Once again you make many interesting points, the fate of the Lost Tribes of Israel is one of these question marks of history and it's understandable that people would want it answering either way. But no matter how much we each belief in something won't make it true or false, the facts do that so there has to be a correlation between what is claimed and what is established and a consistency of argument.
For example, Irish myth holds that Nuil was the father of Gaedheal Glas who founded the Gaels, whilst Nuil's encounter with the Israelites forms a time of between 1500 and 1250 BC. Irish myth also holds that the Milesian Gaels were founded by Golamh who served as a mercenary for Pharaoh Nectanebo, thus making the 4th Century BC a point for the Milesian Gaels coming to Ireland (a point in time supported by other factors). But what some have done is effectively make Golamh (aka Milesius) the ancestor of his own ancestor in order to make their argument work. I've also read claims made by some which don't show or take into account historical timelines or consider that symbols, names, etc. aren't unique to one people or have same meanings. If people don't provide reasoned argument or justification to explain why they interpret the meaning of a word, culture, beliefs, symbols, etc, differently it implies they do so to make their argument work. That isn't just wrong on so many levels; and collectively creates flaws in the argument which ultimately destroy that argument.
What is forgotten is that Irish traditions include those adopted from those who inhabited Ireland before them. Whilst the most interesting traditions, rituals, beliefs and social aspects are those which are identical to those of the ancient Egyptians. This supports the claim of a Gael and Egyptian connection, but the same mythical evidence which supports this claim also shows no connection with the Israelites. In fact Nuil's marrying the daughter of Pharaoh would be illegal under Ancient Egyptian laws designed to keep the purity of Royal blood lines. However, it would suggest that Nuil could have be a minor Egyptian Prince, which would explain the genetic link between the Gaels and the Egyptians, but the actions (helping the Israelites) which eventually caused his great-grandson to leave Egypt.  However, people should ask if such a encounter happened where is the evidence within Exodus?
When the Milesian Gaels came to Ireland they split into three tribes. The tribe which would eventually dominate Ireland were centred in what in now County Meath, before eventually heading West and then North. After some research I found that the genetic tests to which I've so often referred to were carried out of those of Milesian Gaels from the North, mainly those belonging to clans and septs descended from Niall Naoighiallach. However, the Milesian Gael tribe from which Ronald Reagan's Sept is descended went West and are found in County Clare and Cork.Â
SInce the pedigrees I previously sent show no direct descent of the Gaels from the Tuatha De Danann, combined with Irish tradition that the Tuatha De Danann ended up in County Roscommon (where they are supposed to have died out); it seems that more likely that people are looking in the wrong place and at the wrong people. I think people should start looking at the pedigrees, history, etc, of those found within the writings of the MacFirbis.  Simply put in order to find out if it is true or false, people need to explore all possibilities.
Yours Cliff

Brit-Am Reply:
If you have your own ideas concerning Nial we would be pleased to hear them or even publish them if you wish.
Ronald Reagan has male descendants. His DNA is probably known.
There are at least two families called Regan in Ireland.
An email from Paul Duffy tells us:
Quote:
Ai RIAGAIN
http://www.libraryireland.com/names/synopsis-tyypes-surnames.php
*O Riegaine, O Regane*, O'Regan, RRegan; 'descendant of Riagain'; the name of two distinct families. one seated in ancient Meath [east-central Ireland], and the other in Thomond [south of center on the west coast]. The O'Regans of Meath were a branch of the southern Ui Neill and one of the four tribes of Tara.
....The O'Regans of Thomond are a Dalcassian family said to be descended from Riagain, son of Donncuan, the brother of Brian Boru. The O'Regans are now numerous all over Ireland. ...So he could have been M222 or he could be Z253/L226.
End Quote.
We ourselves are very reserved about DNA. Eventually it should become clear that environment was also a factor in determining DNA types. DNA however to some degree has something to tell us. We can also learn from the academic attitude towards it. Usually DNA distinctions can be explained by known history. Sometimes they cannot. When this happens the answer is that there were population movements that history overlooked. The implications are obvious. If it is good enough for DNA it should be good enough for us.
We understand the Lost Ten Tribes to now be amongst Western Nations. Our main justification for this belief is the Bible as supplemented and confirmed by Rabbinical writings. Secular historical sources can confirm this or provide a feasible framework explaining how it could have come about. We could be wrong on the historical details. It may have happened otherwise. The point is that it happened.

5. Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations News and Comments
Overall exposure is increasing. More people are taking an interest in all our portals. The increase in numbers is not overwhelming but it is welcome and could be significant. Funds have been coming in but only to a moderate degree and not sufficiently. We may have to leave our present place of residence and this may result in a temporary suspension of activity. Or it may not. Anyway, the situation is serious. Rosh HaShana [Jewish New Years Day] is coming up soon. The book, Hebrew Ancestry, is making progress. We are pleased with it but it is taking longer than we expected.
We intend to expedite other matters soon.
We received criticism from different quarters on various issues.
Nevertheless we still have much to offer and a strong core of followers.

6. Letter of Criticism and Answer
S sent us a letter asking us not to publish the letter per se but to raise the issues it discussed.
S said: We send out too many emails. We ask too often for money. Of our three Rs (Research, Revelation, Reconciliation) we do not do enough about Reconciliation.
In reply:
The emails may be cut down next year and for a while may cease altogether. You asked to remain on the list but to receive less emails. Unfortunately at this stage we are not built to allow differential email lists. It is all or nothing for the time being.
We need money to function and survive and without asking do not known how to raise it. Concerning Reconciliation we have plans and have made preparations to reach out to Judah more. This however is also dependent on at least some increase in funds. By Reconciliation however you meant being allowed to come to Israel without commitment to the needs of the Bible as understood by Judah. Joseph needs to repent and part of his repentance includes supporting the efforts of Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations. If members of Joseph begin their journey of Repentance the Almighty will show us all the way forward.

7. Proverbs 17:8-14 Avoid Quarrels
Proverbs 17:
8 A stone giving favor is bribery in the eyes of its possessor
wherever he may turn shall he succeed.
9 One who covers over an offence fosters friendship,
but one who repeats a disputed matter will alienate a friend.
10 Better a rebuke for a discerning person
than a hundred blows for a fool.
11 Evil people seek only [excuses for] resentment,
but a cruel emissary will be sent against them.
Avoid dwelling on the past wrongs that have been done you. Do not think bad of others when there is little real reason for it. Stirring up ingratitude and resentment is liable to cause bad results. Be your own master. Do not let negativity take control of you. So too, keep away from people who are always trying to stir you and themselves up against other people. Judge things evenly. Is it really worth arguing with somebody who may not have intended you harm? And what if they did? Are you going to gain over it or is there a chance you might lose a lot? Do not let contentious, quarrelsome associates cause you to say or do things you would not really want to. Â
Proverbs 17:
12 Better to meet a she-bear robbed of its cubs
rather than a fool in his folly.
13 [Concerning] one who returns evil for good,
Evil will not depart from his house
Â
14 The release of water [from a dam, is like] the beginning of strife;
so before the quarrel breaks out, abandon it.
When water bursts a dam or the dam is accidentally opened a stream of water bursts forth with unstoppable force. At first the bursting of water starts with a minor crack or small opening but explodes very quickly.
So too, at the beginning, the quarrel may begin over a minor matter but once it begins it may be impossible to quieten it down.
Leave causes for contention alone before they cause a serious conflict.
