2. Jared ThaJa: Queens and Ephraim
I've noticed that both of the only Women who were ever heads of state of Israel in The Bible where form the tribe of Ephraim. Deborah who was the only Woman Judge, the Judges being the highest civil position during the era before the Kingdom. And Athaliah was the only Queen, she was ruled Judah but she was from the House of Omri.
And I notice that likewise, the most notable examples of Woman leaders among the medieval to modern History of Europe among the nations Britam identifies with the Ten Tribes are British/English. Empress Matilda, Lady Jane Grey, Mary Tudor, Elizabeth Tudor, Mary Stuart, Victoria, the current Elizabeth. And then a non Royal example would be Margret Thatcher.
Elizabeth's parents, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn where coincidentally compared to Ahab and Jezebel by their enemies. Athaliah being a usurper to the Throne of David is interesting in that the British Crown claims descent from David. British Israelism is thought of as a fringe theory, but it was the officially position of the Royal family once, and I don't think they ever formally renounced it.
I don't know a great deal about Thatcher, but I know she fought against the U.K. becoming more firmly entrenched into the European Union (Rome-Edom).
Have you ever considered this aspect of Ephraim's identity before?

#2. Queries on Scotland being Jewish and the significance of Heraldry
Responding to using Coat of Arms to recognize Israel: I think all one has to think about is this:
The sheer scope of all the peoples that came out of Egypt. The only ones counted were the males in a certain age range suited for war. That number, was what---around 600,000??
Add to that the wives, sons and daughters and elderly men and women -and- all the animals!!!!
If someone got separated from their tribe, the only way they could find them again in that mass of peoples, would be if someone were holding up above heads, a standard with a tribal symbol on it, so that the lost ones could make their way through the crowds of others to get back to their tribe!!
W.H. Bennett has written that the blessings of Jacob became these symbols and that Coat of Arms originated with these standards used in the wilderness.
Then, over time, many forgot what the symbols meant, and some decided to drop the original symbols and replace them with something reflecting their trade perhaps, or marriages or the land in which they migrated. Some of course have remained intact.
Since we all know that the LTT have indeed forgotten who they are, it stands to reason they would forget about their tribal symbols too. I do believe that this is changing these days and some are seeking out their roots. It's almost as if a hidden program inside of us has been turned on to search out these things!!!
Remarkable! Amazing days for those who do so!
