Hi Yair,
 
I stumbled across your web site while researching a ministry in Israel.  I have read some of the notes to you and want to add my own.
 
Have you read the four volume set by Steven M. Collins?
Books written are:
    - The "lost" Ten Tribes of Israel - Found!
    - The Origins and Empires Of Ancient Israel
    - Israel's Lost Empires
    - Israel's Tribes Today
    - Parthia - The Forgotten Ancient Superpower and It's Role in Biblical History.
 
My mother, born in Russia, was dragged as a child out of Europe, with her younger
brother, to immigrate into Canada becaue of religious persecution.  They came as
"Mennonites", speaking German, Latvian, Russian, and learned English. They were upper middle class servicing aristocrates with millinary shops and landscape achetecture.  It has been suggested to me, as I have joined up with a Messianic Congregation, that many Jews took on German, Mennonite names and 'converted' to this faith to avoid persecution and because the Mennonites have a very modest and more reserved lifestyle that made it easier for Jews to 'hide' there. 
 
As my interest in the past of my forefathers increases I am doing more research and finding out that it's entirely possible I have Jewish blood... all that remains is for me to have the DNA testing done.
 
The books mentioned above are meticulously researched with dates, diagrams, and historical and Biblical references. I become very angry when reading them, because our Western Roman/Greco "history' as we have been taught doesn't refer to ANY of these historical facts... and it's becoming obvious that it's because there is a "spirit" of anti-semitism behind it all.
 
As a Christian who cherishes the Torah, I get emotional each Shabbat when the Torrah is brought around for us to kiss because I know the sacrifices the "Jews" ... Hebrews, have made over the centuries to preserve it for us.
 
I bless you in your effort to FIND our roots and allow these Truths to be exposed, and the Lies of the Centuries, uncovered.
