Norway is one of the nations in which we find a significant number descended from Israel. Norway in general may be identified with the Israelite Tribe of Naphtali. It was part of the Lost Ten Tribes. These are associated in Biblical prophecy with Jacob. The Tribes of Jacob (Isaiah 49:6) are those of the Ten Tribes. They are at the Ends of the Earth (Isaiah 49:6) as Norway is. The Border between Israelite Norway and non-Israelite Russia is known as the River of Jacob (Jacobselv). Names have significance.
