1. Month of Sivan and the Tribe of Zebulon
We have now entered the Hebrew month of Sivan.
The most accepted opinon (of the Gra, i.e. Eliyahu of Vilna, and of the Arizal) ascribe the month of Sivan to the Tribe of Zebulon.
Other opinions say Ephraim (Midrash Pliah) or Levi (Rabad).

(1. Introduction. The Feast of Weeks
Beginning from sunset 5 June, 2014 unto nightfall on June 6 is the Feast of Shavuoth translated as Weeks.
On this day we celebrate the Giving by God and Acceptance by Israel of the Torah on Mount Sinai.
Shavuot - Festival of Weeks
http://www.hebcal.com/holidays/shavuot
Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to the entire Israelite nation assembled at Mount Sinai, although the association between the giving of the Torah (Matan Torah) and Shavuot is not explicit in the Biblical text. The holiday is one of the Shalosh Regalim, the three Biblical pilgrimage festivals.
Shavuoth is also known as Day of the First Fruits (Hebrew , Yom ha-Bikkurim):
Numbers 28:
26 Also in the day of the first-fruits, when ye bring a new meal-offering unto the LORD in your feast of weeks, ye shall have a holy convocation: ye shall do no manner of servile work.
It is a Jewish custom to eat dairy foods (representing milk and honey) on this day.
The synagogues are decorated with greenery, large leaves, etc.

(2. Reading the Ten Commandments on Shavuot
In the Torah reading in the Synagogue on Shavuot we hear about the Ten Commandments.
In Chabad communities emphasis is placed on bringing all the children of the neighborhood to hear the Ten Commandments read out.
Nachmanides and others say that all the Laws of Torah are encompassed in the Ten Commandments.
Nevertheless the Rabbis discouraged overemphasizing the Ten as compared to the rest of the Torah.Â
The Ten Commandments
Exodus 20:
1 God spoke all these words, saying:
2 I the Lord am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:
3 You shall have no other gods besides Me.
4 You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth.
5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the Lord your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me, 6 but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 You shall not swear falsely by the name of the Lord your God; for the Lord will not clear one who swears falsely by His name.
8 Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God: you shall not do any work, Â you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements. 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.
12 Honor your father and your mother, that you may long endure on the land that the Lord your God is assigning to you.
13 You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
14 You shall not covet your neighbor's house: you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male or female slave, or his ox or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's.
15 All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the blare of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they fell back and stood at a distance.
16 "You speak to us," they said to Moses, "and we will obey; but let not God speak to us, lest we die."
17 Moses answered the people, "Be not afraid; for God has come only in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may be ever with you, so that you do not go astray."
18 So the people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where God was.

(3. Â Ruth the Moabitess, Ancestress of David and the Future Messiah
The Book of Ruth is also read.
Ruth was a non-Israelite who attached herself to the Children of Israel.
At first she married a son of Naomi who had come to live in Moab. When her husband died along with that of Naomi she went back with her to Beth-Lehem in the territory of Judah.
Ruth said to Naomi:
Ruth 1:
16 And Ruth said,
'Do not press me to leave you
or to turn back from following you!
Where you go, I will go;
  where you lodge, I will lodge;
your people shall be my people,
  and your God my God.
17 Where you die, I will die'
  there will I be buried.
May the Lord do thus and so to me,
  and more as well,
if even death parts me from you!'
In Bethlehem Ruth met Boaz a kinsman of Noami. They married and had a son named Obed. Obed begat Jesse and Jesse begat David (Ruth 4:17).
Ruth the Moabitess was therefore an ancestress of King David.

(5. Personal Note from Brit-Am. Beth-Lehem here we come!
Ruth went to Beth-Lehem.
The headquarters of Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations and the personal domicile of Yair Davidiy may well be moving very soon to an area close to the Biblical Beth-Lehem.
Minor delays and disturbances in our regular operations may eventuate but, God willing, we should be back in action.
