1. YouTube Clip. Jew Hatred vrs Hebrew Descent
Duration:Â 10.50Â minutes
A recent ADL survey of nations of the world found great differences between countries as to what extent Jews were tolerated or not. These findings in some cases reflect on the Israelite origins of the peoples concerned. The less hate for Jews there is means the more chance that Israelites were their ancestors.

Re: Brit-Am Now no. 2320. Ten Tribes Studies
#3. John Thornton: Intrigued by Irish Mythology
Hello Yair,
Only a small correction. The Hebrews we know came from Shem and initially but down the line from Eber himself and again ,was where the Hebrews derived from and if course then eventually Jacob, later called Israel by God ,who had 12 sons and thus the 12 tribes of Israel.Scythians are not from Japheth but from Shem. Noah blessed the God of Shem, not Japheth after he had cursed Ham's son Canaan. A lot can be read into that verse alone and makes you think which God Japheth and his lineage even until today, but we also know that the Hindus, Buddhist among other Oriental countries are descendents from Japheth.
Blessings.

Brit-Am Reply:
You are replying to John Thornton who in turn is quoting from Irish sources. It is not our opinion.
We too think that Shem (and not Japhet) was the ancestor of the Iberi.
The Irish sources were written down by Churchmen who tried to make what they were writing consistent with accepted wisdom of the time.

#3. John Thornton: Intrigued by Irish Mythology
Shalom Yair
I would recommend that you do not get too bogged down in Irish myths or Irish chronologies unless you know what you are playing with. The Irish pseudo-historians really have gone to town with their fancy inventions. If you can recall, I mentioned in a previous email that the Irish bards were poets, and as such often used symbolism in their works. Working from "Original Manuscripts written in the Phoenician Dialect of the Scythian Language", Roger O'Connor in his Chronicles of Eri tells us that the Goidhels came from the river Hiddekel (where the Ten Tribes were planted Chronicles of Eri Vol. 1, p.6. See https://archive.org/stream/chroniclesoferib01ocon#page/5/mode/1up.). He even assures us that they are descended from Yaphet son of Noah. This is in contradiction to the statement by other Irish writers that Gadelas, the ancestor of the Goidhels, was in the wilderness with Moses. (Seumas MacManus, The Story of the Irish Race p.8 - see https://archive.org/stream/storyofirishrace00macm#page/8/mode/1up.) When we look at O'Connor's source, we find:-
"And Macaar the son of Ard-fear (i.e. Eremon) was chosen in the place of his father, and he was called Iat-foth, the first of the race of Absal chosen to rule in Ardmionn (i.e. Armenia) - the foundation of the children of Ard-fear in that land." (Chronicles of Eri Vol. 1 p.15 - see https://archive.org/stream/chroniclesoferib01ocon#page/15/mode/1up)
As you can see, Yaphet was NOT the son of Noah! Macaar is a various spelling of Machir son of Menashe, a people called Mehrani by the Assyrians, a people who dwelt in the land of Mehri which the Assyrian kings located somewhere south of the land of Harran. We know this land as the land of Gilead. Iat-foth, who O'Connor is taking to be Yaphet son of Noah, is more likely to be a tribe of people named after Yiphtach (AV Jephthah) son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Menashe. It seems that all of the Israelite tribes have convinced themselves that they are Yaphetic!
O'Connor tells us that Eber (who lived centuries before arriving in Ireland) gave his name to Iberia in Armenia. He also tells us that Eremon, who he calls Ardfear, founded Ardmoinn, i.e. Armenia. The truth of the matter is that he has got it the wrong way round. Eber and Eremon are named AFTER these places from whence they have came. As Thomas F. O'Rahilly pointed out, Scota originally only had two sons, but over the ages, the Irish pseudo-historians have added even more sons to her name. The sad truth of the matter is that Scota and her TWO sons Eber and Eremon are more correctly Scythians, Iberian Scythians [Eber] and Armenian Scythians [Eremon] respectively. Remember what I said about the bards being poets? These Scythians arrived nearly one thousand years after Queen Tea hence any suggestion that Eremon married Tea or that 'he' gave Ulster to Ollamh Fodhla (who, incidentally, supposedly lived around twenty generations AFTER Eremon) is pure fantasy.
"Thus traditional, historical and linguistic considerations all support the conclusion that the Goidelic invasion was a late event in Irish history, an event which must have occurred not long before, or not long after, the beginning of the Christian era." (Thomas F. O'Rahilly, Early Irish History & Mythology p.207. )
If the truth be known, they were still in Armenia until sometime towards the end of the third century CE!!!
"We find, for instance, Conn and Eaogan, the divine ancestors of the Goidels, appearing two generations later in the pedigrees than Tuathal and Mug Nuadat." (O'Rahilly op. cit. pp.200-1.)
Mug-Nuadat is usually dated to the second century CE. This is what you are dealing with when looking at the Irish history.
Regards,
Steve

4. Joseph Dumond of Sighted MoonÂ
re Brit-Am Now no. 2320. Ten Tribes Studies
http://hebrewnations.com/features/now8/2320.html
#7. Reference to Drummond Removed.
By Drummond we meant Joseph Dumond of Sighted Moon.
We have dealt with this creature in the past, see:
Touche! The Karaite Allies Threat to Brit-Am and the Brit-Am Answer
http://www.britam.org/Touche.html
We had written an article critical of the Karaite impostors. Dumond considers himself one of them though they might not. We did not have Dumond in mind at the time of writing but he thought we did. Dumon then wrote us a letter (quoted in full in the above article) containing a barely veiled threat and scatological lies about the Rabbis and the Talmud.
In addition to what Dumond said as quoted in the above article (written ca. October 2010) his web site contains numerous slurs against the Talmud, Judaism, and Jews. He also has links to other sites wallowing in the same filth that he delights in.
Dumond uses Nazi-type sources!
We cannot say for certain who (at the individual level) is and who is not of Israelite origin.
We can say based on the sources where most of the Lost Israelites appear to be. This greatly heightens the probability that someone from the groups in question is part of Israel.
Nevertheless a degree of uncertainty exists.
We may be getting closer to closing the gap in question.
Reprobates of Israelite or non-Israelite stock are trying to hijack aspects of our message to besmirch Judah and promote dissension.
They are the Enemies at the Gate.
They are liable to delay the Reconciliation and Redemption of Judah and Joseph. They are trying to do so.
Dumond appears to be one of them.
In his defence it may be claimed that he means well but has been mislead by false information.
This is no excuse.
Each and every one of us must bear responsibility for whatever we do, believe, and teach.
It is not enough to claim one was mistaken.
What is more we have here a consistent pattern on the part of Dumond and his ilk of seeking out and accepting negative allegations about Judah.
This is evil and we shall not countenance it.

# In his work on Heth and Moab [Northern and Eastern Parts of the Land of Israel], Captain Conder has devoted
considerable space to the three kindred subjects of the " Rude Stone Monuments " in general, the dolmens in particular,! and the ancient superstitions of Syria. One of the illustrations he gives, Â that of a dolmen near Heshbon, Â represents a structure wonderfully like the "Giant's Load" at Ballymascanlan, in Louth [Ireland].#Â
