1. Some Reasons why the Israelite Ancestry of Western Peoples is Not More Widely Acknowledged. An Outline.
1. Most People are not aware of the relevant Biblical Proofs and Secular Researches.
2. Some disagree with our interpretation and explanation of the Biblical Verses.
3. Certain passages in Rabbinical Sources are misunderstood and applied against us.
4. Our secular evidence relies on an understanding of history that is not in accord with conventional academia.
5. Aspects of recent history and current affairs that we feel help prove our case are understood by others as negative.
6. Other claims identify the Lost Ten Tribes with peoples in the east, etc. These are mistaken but they have received much publicity and they have their adherents.
7. The problem of religious differences between the LTTs and Judah creates suspicion on the part of the Jews. They feel that belief in the TTs being in the west may hide an agenda. The Practical Application of this knowledge, what rights -if any- they should have in the Land of Israel, etc, threatens to complicate an already over-complicated situation.
8. There are indeed anti-Semites who combine belief in the Ten Tribes being in the west with Jew-Hatred. These people are well-funded and often fanatical. There are Jews and Gentiles that have learned to automatically associate Identity Beliefs with Anti-Jewish movements.
9. DNAÂ studies, as presently understood, indicate that Western Peoples are related to other Europeans whereas Jews have a Middle East origin.

3. Month of Tishrei. Ephraim
We are now in the Hebrew month of Tishrei. Its zodiacal sign is a pair of scales.
The most accepted opinion (of the GRA and Arizal) is that this is the month of Ephraim.
Other opinions say Simeon (Midrash Peliah) or Zebulon (Rabad).
