1. New Article. John Hulley. A Friend and Mentor has Passed Away
Extract:
Here are two photos of Yair Davidiy and John Hulley together.
Both photos were taken in Hebron but with a good number of years between them.
The first photo (in black and white) was intended for a newspaper article concerning the Ten Tribes which in the end was never published.

2. Addition to article. The French Rooster and the Reubenite Coming of the Dawn
Re
Ruby Reuben. The Israelite Tribal Gem of France
The rooster in Folklore and Jewish religious tradition is associated with the rising sun and the coming of dawn. Reuben in Jewish traditional art (as seen in synagogues, etc) is often represented by a rising sun.
On my refrigator I have a magnetized decoration (of the type found in gift shops, etc) depicting the 12 tribal symbols. This too shows the symbol of Reuben as a rising sun as shown below.
The rooster symbol of the French corresponds with the Jewish coming of dawn representation concerning Reuben. French depictions of this Rooster national emblem often emphasize the red portion of the head.

#3. Eliezer Bet Levi: Anti-Semitism in Germania is nothing new
Hi Yair,
To respond to Eliezer Bet Levi's letter.
As much some would like to see Christians as the enemy, not all Christians are anti-semitic.
Finn-christians have helped jews in the past by not giving jews to destruction camps.
Only 8 jews was handed over since they were foreignhers and Finland had to.
Finns have supported Israel for this day economically and politically and by the labor they have given in the land of Israel.
There are a lot of friends of Israel amongst Finnish Christians.
It is possible to find all facts out all by him/herself from the Internet. So the claim of anti-semitism is false.

4. Christianity for Jews is idolatry. Why Risk Condemnation?
We try to avoid Religious Polemics. It happens however that sometimes well-meaning but mistaken, and at other times simply malicious, elements try to convert us and others to Christianity.
The present notes is in reaction to such nefarious malfeasant machinations.
Christianity for non-Jews is not considered idolatry. According to some opinions and our own understanding Christianity for non-Jews may be positive.
Christianity is an agency whereby the Ten Lost Tribes will become acquainted with the Bible and eventually return in the Messianic Era or close to it.
Meanwhile Christians should do what they have to do according to their understanding, believe in God and learn the Bible and become aware of their Israelite Ancestry in those cases where this is applicable.
Christians SHOULD NOT try to convince Jews of their religion since GOD commands Jews not to believe in it.
God wrote it in HIS book.
Christians who try to convince Jews of Christianity may be guilty of idolatry and of incitement to idolatry. The punishment for this at the hands of heaven is very very severe.
Even if you do not believe this, how can you be sure I am not right?
Perhaps God does not want Jews to become Christians?
Why risk it?
Deuteronomy 18:
20 But any prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, or who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded the prophet to speakÂthat prophet shall die.’ 21You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?’ 22 If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.
Deuteronomy 17:
2 If there is found among you, in one of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, a man or woman who does what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, and transgresses his covenant 3 by going to serve other gods and worshipping themÂwhether the sun or the moon or any of the host of heaven, which I have forbidden 4 and if it is reported to you or you hear of it, and you make a thorough inquiry, and the charge is proved true that such an abhorrent thing has occurred in Israel, 5 then you shall bring out to your gates that man or that woman who has committed this crime and you shall stone the man or woman to death. 6 On the evidence of two or three witnesses the death sentence shall be executed; a person must not be put to death on the evidence of only one witness. 7 The hands of the witnesses shall be the first raised against the person to execute the death penalty, and afterwards the hands of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Deuteronomy 13:
6 If anyone secretly entices youÂeven if it is your brother, your father’s son or* your mother’s son, or your own son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your most intimate friendÂsaying, ‘Let us go and worship other gods’, whom neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 any of the gods of the peoples that are around you, whether near you or far away from you, from one end of the earth to the other, 8 you must not yield to or heed any such persons. Show them no pity or compassion and do not shield them. 9 But you shall surely kill them; your own hand shall be first against them to execute them, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 Stone them to death for trying to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 11 Then all Israel shall hear and be afraid, and never again do any such wickedness.

Yair thank you for informing us of John's passing. So true about him being a true elder in this restoration of Bney Yoseph. He has contributed greatly, not only by his articles, but the many personal conversations with the hundreds that he would host at his home. John, I believe was 92 years old. He went home to be with his forefathers on or very close to "Shmeni Atzerit" which is a very special time, and very appropriate for such a man as our brother John.

Re The passing away of Yochanan Hevroni Ben David aka John Hulley-from Bill Rasmussen in Minnesota
Shalom Yair: It is with great sadness that I received your e-mail regarding the passing away of Yochanan Hevroni Ben David, aka John Hulley. I became familiar with him back in the early 1990s with his prolific article in B'Ohr HaTorah Number 6 published in 1987. The article entitled, "Did any of the lost tribes go north?" discussed how the lost tribes crossed the Sambatyon which is known today as the Bosphorus. At the time, there was a dearth of information regarding the lost tribes. In fact, John's article probably influenced me more than anything I had read regarding the tribes of Israel and where they are extant today. His article also led me to you Yair, which of course, has been life changing for me. I honor John, now of blessed memory. May his good works and teachings continue to be a blessing to many. Yair, if you can share how much he touched me with his family, I would appreciate it. I will say Kadish for him. Shalom v'b'richot, Bill Rasmussen

7. Bruce Mckerras:Â THIS YEAR IS THE FINAL YEAR OF ISRAEL'S EXILE (followed by Brit-Am Comment).
The 10 Northern tribes of Israel were finally taken into exile by Assyria in 718 BCE. Their decreed period of exile was to be 390 years. Ezekiel 4:4 But because of continued sin, this was multiplied by 7, Leviticus 26:18, making a total punishment by exile from the holy Land of 2730 years. 718+2014 = 2732, but because there is no year zero and the years count from their commencement, [for example at the start of the year 2000, only 1999 years had actually elapsed.] and working both ways from the start point of the 1st of January 1 CE, we must deduct 2 years to obtain the exact number of actual completed years; THIS YEAR IS THE FINAL YEAR OF ISRAEL'S EXILE.
Bruce Mckerras

Brit-Am Comment:
This computation, based on Ezekiel 4:4, in different forms is well known and has been put forward in British Israel type literature for some time.
I have been in Israel since 1974. Nearly every year I have heard that the Messiah is arriving. The Sages condemned they who set dates for En d-Time scenarios.
We shall wait and see.
Our present method of dating Ancient Events may be about 200 years out of place as indicated by Rabbinical sources and discussed by Immanuel Velikovsky.
cf.
Ezekiel 4:
4 And you, O mortal, take a brick and set it before you. On it portray a city, Jerusalem;
2 and put siege-works against it, and build a siege-wall against it, and cast up a ramp against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering-rams against it all round.
3 Then take an iron plate and place it as an iron wall between you and the city; set your face towards it, and let it be in a state of siege, and press the siege against it. This is a sign for the house of Israel.
4 Then lie on your left side, and place the punishment of the house of Israel upon it; you shall bear their punishment for the number of the days that you lie there.
5 For I assign to you a number of days, three hundred and ninety days, equal to the number of the years of their punishment; and so you shall bear the punishment of the house of Israel.
6 When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side, and bear the punishment of the house of Judah; forty days I assign you, one day for each year.
7 You shall set your face towards the siege of Jerusalem, and with your arm bared you shall prophesy against it.
8 See, I am putting cords on you so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have completed the days of your siege.
