Eventually they reached areas of Western Europe including Britain and Ireland. Their descendants are to be found in those places and related areas (such as north America) today.

The lost tribes went in all directions, west, east, north, south. You will find them also in south asia, africa, the new world etc, not just europe and america. When one grasps that the roman empire itself was once 20% jewish throughout and not counting lost tribes, and factoring in a population explosion from 500 million to 8 billion in a few centurys, at least today, 2 billion plus have lost tribe lineage as judah alone today has a few hundred million of some judah ancestry. I once had a hobby finding majority of extreme jew haters had jewish ancestors. I quit my hobby when i realized justice belongs to God and not mine to rub in their faces. Names are also q great help knowing how the morph from change to change. Jones origin is yonah as a starter. Jagger originated from yagur. There are in-between names from the original to the present. Israel was promised to be numerous as sand of the sea, and thats way beyond todays professed 17 milllion jews. This is why that today millions do dna tests and shocked to have some israel heritage. Did we all not come from Noah's family anyway?

There are also the germanic tribes that were iranians pushed out of persia by persians over the caucaus which is japeth, snd some went east and south into india and the bulk were pushed by orientals in three waves of hordes of 200 million into europe. These germans and hebrews have mixed but the extent varies by areas.

Actually there are 15 tribes. One grafted in tribe was the nethanim temple servants that were hebrew kinfolk from syria that were not off of abraham issac or jacob but were kinfolk hebrews that King david grafted into israel, like rachel and leah grafted into israel.

Rabbi, a great thesis w/an early mistake. The Philistines came originally from Crete, Cyprus, and other Bronze Age Greek culture islands, expanding to other shores including those of the Land of Canaan. That shore dwelling Cananites were conquered and displaced is obvious, but if they did'nt dwell in walled cities putting up a defence, they'd be made into servants and small peasant farmers, to be eventually absorbed into Phillistine cultural norms, like pork eating. In any case as a group they were not and are not native Canaanites !

Shalom! It's all because of the Covenant with Abraham!. A blessed and spiritual man said about the Chapters of Genesis Chapter 16:1+ Genesis 21:1- While poor Hagar left up her voice, and wept. 21:17. And God heard the voice of the lad; and the Angel of God called to Hangar out of Heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the Lad where he is. The Hebrew word and name Ishmael- The Lord ? God? Shall hear! That is what is In a version of my English Bible. Also it may be a Culture tradition not all cries and tears are immediately heard. But, A Covenant Child of Abraham is heard and Answered immediately. The lost Sheep and the tribes of Israel was not to be known like Judah and the other Broders and Tribes did not know Joseph as the Prime minister of Ancient Egypt. What is my point #1. While they were lost to world and to each other, they were not lost to the Lord God. Hosiah 4:6. " My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge. Let us pray for Mercy, Wisdom, and Repentance, Psalms 136:1+ For his Mercy endures forever. Amen

My family line went from Ireland in 1860 to New York and then year by year moved westward to where I and my own family live in Northwestern BC Canada. I went to Israel to meet my wife who is from Finland. She of course came to the far west with me. My kids are Hebrews. We are not converting to Judaism because we are not from the southern kingdom. We are Ephraimites from the 10 tribes. There must be two distinct groups of Israel that join together in the last days. Maybe that is soon.
