People believe, or strengthen an innate belief, in the Almighty due to the need for a Moral Authority.
This is then strengthened by other factors such as existence of a Creator, Conviction, etc.
The Bible strengthens this belief while the urge to deny moral authority is often the initiating factor in disbelief.
People who accept the Bible recognize the existence of a Chosen People. Part of this entity know who they are i.e. the Jews. Another portion is not aware of who they are and is not recognized by others. Nevertheless Scripture says they exist. These are the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. We want to know who these are since it helps us understand how Biblical Prophecy plays itself out. If we are inherently part of this then it is all the more important for us. It helps us know what we should do among other things.
In the same way as people are interested in genealogy, and in DNA, and in the history of our ancestors and those of others so too concerning the Ten Lost Tribes. Knowing who they are helps us understand many Biblical Passages as well as Historical Events and Future ones.
If we are part of them it is doubly important to us. We will know what processes we have been part of and an inkling concerning the future. The Bible tells the early history of the Israelites: Who the Ancestors were. What was predicted concerning them, etc. It also tells what will happen to them in the future and indicates what they should expect at present.
If you are part of this would it not be worth knowing?
The Bible predicts that:
The descendants of Israel would number hundreds of millions (Genesis 15:5, 22:17, 24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Deuteronomy 1:11, Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15, Hosea 1:10).
All other peoples would be blessed through them (Genesis 12:2-3, 18:18, 22:18, 26:4, Isaiah 61:9).
All nations would be dependent upon them (Genesis 48:19, in the Hebrew).
They were to rule over other nations (Genesis 27:29, 48:19).
They were to become exceedingly prosperous (Genesis 15:5, 22:17, 24:60, 32:12; Numbers 23:10; Deuteronomy 1:11; Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15; Hosea 1:10).
They would possess vast natural resources (Genesis 27:28, 49:25; Deuteronomy 33:13-16; Hosea 2:8).
There were actually 13 Tribes but for different reasons they are counted as 12. Thirteen different Tribes, Ten of whom were to lose their identity. Three of the remaining Tribes comprised the entity known collectively as "Judah" i.e. the Jewish People.
Each Tribe had its own distinctive qualities. After being exiled, the Tribes evolved into the dominant elements of western nations. National characteristics of the countries in question reflect the original Tribal distinctions. The USA with Britain and her daughters descend from Joseph who was to receive the major blessings. The Lost Israelites were to possess "the gate of those who hate them" (Genesis 24:60) and the "gate of his enemies" (Genesis 22:17). This meant major strategic points giving them an edge over all potential adversaries. The USA and Britain have had this advantage and still do. Maintaining and expanding strategic overseas vantage points has become an intrinsic aspect of their foreign and military policy. The USA and Britain are essentially unique amongst World Empires in this respect. Israelites (especially Joseph) were to become the most powerful nations in the world and to have a presence in every Ocean. This had been prophesied. Their symbols would include the lion and the unicorn (Numbers 23:22-24, Deuteronomy 33:17). Their national colors (as seen in the Tabernacle) would be red, white, and blue. This is what the Bible says. The Bible identifies the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel with the USA, Britain, and related nations.
All of the Tribes are located each in its own area in Western Europe. This is worth knowing. This involves everyone on earth and especially those whom the Bible refers to.
The Messiah will tell each and every one what specific Tribe they belong to. Then we will know for sure. Meanwhile we can get closer to Biblical Truth and get closer to everything involved with it.
Amos (TCT) 5:
14 SEEK GOOD AND NOT EVIL IN ORDER THAT YOU LIVE, AND SO THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS SHALL BE WITH YOU, AS YOU SAID.
