I personally do not believe in Evolution.
We do however believe that DNA can change or "move around" due to in-built mechanisms.

Apart from that we are still working on it.
DNA to be accepted needs to reconcile its claims with our teachings and not the opposite.

(3. How do you know whether you descend from Ancient Israelites or not?
I believe in the Bible. My ancestors all seem to have been either Jews or Gentiles from countries in which the Lost Ten Tribes were prominent.
I identify with them.
Even if that was not the case I would want to belong to the Ancient Hebrews.
In case I were mistaken then I would be prepared, I hope, to do what ever is needed to assume an association.
I repeat,I believe that at least some of my ancestors were Hebrew - and if any of them were not then they too would have felt more or less the same way as I do.
This in Biblical Terms as explained by Rabbinical Exegesis is enough.
The Bible is what determines what is what.
The Bible describes and defines the reality.
According to the Bible the Present-day Jews are Judah.

The Jewish Rabbis decide. The Bible confirms their authority regarding the present. The Bible tells us what will be in the future.
The Lost Ten Tribes are technically Gentiles but they are descended from Israelites, have a Hebrew role to play, and will return to being recognized (and recognizing themselves) as full-fledged Hebrews.
This is what the Bible says.
Ezekiel (TCTanakh) 37:
22 AND I WILL MAKE THEM INTO ONE NATION IN THE LAND UPON THE MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL, A
ND ONE KING SHALL BE TO THEM ALL AS A KING; AND THEY SHALL NO LONGER BE TWO NATIONS,
NEITHER SHALL THEY BE DIVIDED INTO TWO KINGDOMS ANYMORE.

One of his sons was Joseph who was given a special blessing of his own.
Joseph was to possess (control) the strategic points of the world and to be exceedingly numerous.
He was also charged with establishing justice and righteousness among the peoples of the world.
We prove that Joseph is to be identified with the English-speaking peoples.

The Tribe of Joseph was assumedly marked for having handsome men while the Tribe of Asher had good-looking women.
Joseph is described in the Bible as being handsome and desired by women.
Genesis 39:
**6** (https://www.chabad.org/library/bible_cdo/aid/8234#v6) ... AND JOSEPH HAD HANDSOME FEATURES AND A BEAUTIFUL COMPLEXION.
When Joseph was sold as a slave the wife of his master tried to seduce him. When the woman failed in her advances she accused Joseph of attempted rape.
The father of Joseph, Jacob (who had been renamed Israel), when blessing the Tribes on his deathbed described Joseph as extremely attractive to the feminine sex.
Genesis (TCTanakh) 49:
22 A CHARMING SON IS JOSEPH, A SON CHARMING TO THE EYE; [OF THE] WOMEN, [EACH ONE] STRODE ALONG TO SEE HIM.
It is implied that this (like all the other blessings) would become a Tribal trait.
So too,
traditionally the women from the Tribe of Asher were known for their beauty.

HE WILL BE PLEASING TO HIS BROTHERS..... The women who came from Asher were beautiful. .... The daughters of Asher were married to those anointed with olive oil such as High Priests (and kings). Midrash Breishit Rabah 71:10.
