2. What is the Difference between Orthodox Jews and Ultra-Orthodox?
I don't know whether you would have time, or mind answering this, but I have some idea about the difference between Ashkenazi and Sephardim Jews being from different geographical locations, but not the difference between Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox Jews. It would be helpful to know where you are coming from in your thinking. Just a fairly simple explanation would be fine, if that's possible.

Brit-Am Answer:
Orthodox Jews accept the Torah as explained by traditional authorities such as Maimonides (1135-1204), Rabbi Joseph Karo (1563), Rabbi Moshe Isserles (1530-1572), and others. They may be referred to as Modern Orthodox. Ultra-Orthodox recognize the same sources as the Modern Orthodox but (while recognizing the validity of the Modern Orthodox) may add to them, and/or apply a stricter interpretation in their own lives of their rulings. Ultra-Orthodox will often live in their own communities and be distinguished by their own dress. They include numerous sub-sections such as the Hasidim and others.
Yair Davidiy may be defined as at present basically Ultra-Orthodox though he spent much of his adult life in a general Orthodox environment.

3. Feast of Chanuccha. LTTs and MBJ.
From sundown on December 14th to 22 nd December 2025 i s the Jewish feast of Channuccha.
Historically this feast celebrates the deliverance of the Jews in Ancient Judaea from Jewish and non-Jewish Helenizers
in the Greek Seleucid Empire then ruled over them..
Later Jewish Rabbinical Philosophers found an association with the Messiah son of Joseph and by implication the Lost Ten tribes.

We saw in 4 (b) above that Maimonides says MBD will let every Israelite know what Tribe they belong to. Others say this will be MBJ. This may be reconciled by saying that MBJ will begin the process and MBD complete it. All say it will begin with the Tribe of Levi and then continue onto the other Tribes.
In fact if we accept (5. MBJ and the Temple) that MBJ builds the Temple before the coming of MBD we must also accept that he begins ascribing Tribal Lineage to the Tribe of Levi and then to other Tribes. For the Temple Service to be re-instituted we need certified Cohens (Priests) from the Tribe of Levi and also ordinary Levites from the Tribe of Levi. Today we have families among the Jews with traditions that they are hereditary Cohens and Levite. This however may not be enough and some other affirmation regarding their Family Tribal Status be required.
Pirkei Heichalos 39:1 writes:
# Forty years before the Davidic Messiah....Mashiach ben Yosef will come and stand in Jerusalem and all Israel will gather around him, each man with his family, and the Family of Israel will bring sacrifices which will be pleasant to God, and all Israel will be identified by their correct families. #
