1. New Month of Tevet, Tribe of Dan.
December 20 and 21, 2025 were the 1st days of Tevet, 5775.
This according to mainstream (HaGra and HaArizal) opinion is the month of Dan.
Others (Midrash Peliah and the Rabad) attribute it to Gad.
Quotations Concerning the Month of Tevet and Dan:
The holy power of Dan reflects a spark of Mashiach. In the Zohar we are taught that the commander-in-chief of the army of Mashiach will come from the tribe of Dan.
The tribe of Tevet is Dan. Part of his inheritance is in the far north of Israel, certainly one of the coldest parts of the country. He was known as the "measeph l'chol hamachanot", the in-gatherer of all the tribes. Dan was the tribe that walked last in the procession as the Israelites journeyed through the desert, and he picked up the lost articles which the other tribes had left behind as they traveled, and returned them. Thus, he did a lot of returning of lost sparks to their source as he went on his way.
The month of Tevet is the darkest time of the year. Its days are the shortest of the year and its nights the longest. The tribe associated with Tevet is the tribe of Dan. When the Children of Israel traveled and camped in the desert, they encircled the Holy Ark. The tribe of Dan was the most northerly encampment. The North is a dark cold place. The long nights of Tevet are even longer in the North. The Hebrew word for North - tzafon - is spelled the same as tzafun - which means hidden. The Talmud tells us that one of the names of the yetzer hara - the negative drive - is a related word "tzafuni" (Succa 52).

Biblical and other sources indicate that Canaanites settled in Germany in Ancient Times and some of the present-day Germans descend from them. Scriptural Prophecies said that the Israelite Tribe of Zebulon would neighbor Sidon the Canaanite-Phoenician city in the End Times (Genesis 49:13). Indications are that by Zebulon the Israelite day people of the Netherlands was intended and by Sidon the neighboring area of Hamburg in Germany!

The Lost Ten Tribes in general are among West European Peoples.
In most cases they are either dominant or close to it. Specific Tribes
predominated in defined regions. Nevertheless a mixture of Tribes is also frequent.
Here are Nations and their Tribes as we understand them at present:
Finland - Issachar.
Switzerland - Issachar.
France - Reuben
Belgium - Reuben - Benjamin.
Netherlands - Zebulon.
Denmark - Dan.
Norway - Naftali
Sweden - Gad, Asher.
England - Ephraim
Scotland - Manasseh
Ireland - Asher, Dan.
