Is this correct: The British army saved remaining Jews from holocaust, gave them a part of Israel in an Arab country (Palestinian) and Arabs got mad that Jews got support. Is that what the Israel Palestinian conflict is about?

It is partially correct but requires re-phrasing:
The British saved Jews from the Germans though they could have saved more than they did. They gave the Jews a part of the Jews own Ancestral Land (Palestine- Israel). The Arabs then all ganged up against them while the British left. I could have made it lshorter (or onger) but you get the idea.

Chapter 1.
From the Nile to the Euphrates. ALL THE LAND OF THE HITTITES: One understanding (supported by archaeological evidence and the names of places in Classical Literature) says that this includes most of present-day Turkey.
The Land was to be divided unto all the Tribes of Israel. Every Tribe was to receive its own portion and every clan within the Tribe its own place and every family its own section.
He was commanded to constantly study the Holy Torah. The Kings of Israel were also commanded to keep a copy of the Torah with them and always study it. Leaning the Torah was to be the key to Israelite National Success. According to Maimonides Joshua had the status of a king.
Evidence of Israelite Tribes settling along the banks of the Euphrates is provided from the Maps of Ptolemy and from archaeological sources. For example, we find enclaves from Benjamin, Judah, Gad, and Dan in the outer regions of Syria and in Turkey.

According to tradition Rahab repented and returned from her froward ways. She was the ancestress of Jeremiah the prophet (Midrash Pesikta 34, Talmud Megillah 14b). Rahab had not necessarily entered the profession of her own free will in the first place.

Is this were the expression 'Scarlet Woman' (connoting a prostitute) originates from?
According to traditions, Rahab was very beautiful:
There were four beautiful women in history:Sarah, Rahab, Abigail, and Esther (Talmud Megillah 15a).
Eight prophets (including Jeremiah) and one prophetess of Israel were descended from this woman (Talmud Megillah 14a).
The descendants of Rahab were later known as producers of fine linen.
