During the 2nd World War it was feared that the Germans would reach Palestine and attempt to massacre the Jews there. British instructors trained and partially armed members of the Jewish defence forces (Hagana) in preparation for such an eventuality.

From 1919 to 1939 on the whole the British were positive towards the Jews.
British actions during The 1936 - 1939 Arab revolt in Palestine severely impeded the local Arabs ability to wage a war of insurgency against the Jews. Many Arab terrorists during this period were killed or injured. A British Intelligence Officer Orde Wingate (1903-1944) helped organize Jewish Kibbutz members into "Night Squads" who would track down or pre-empt Arab terrorists. This was to influence the future development of the IDF. Wingate (like Paterson before him) was a Restorationist and a believer in British Israel.

After the 2nd World War the restrictions on Jewish immigration continued. Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of Jews with no-where to go.were languishing in Displaced Persons camps in Germany and other parts of Europe. Hostilities broke out between the British and Jewish underground organization "Irgun."

Refugees.
Meanwhile 100s of thousands of Arab refugees had fled to the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon, and other areas. On the other hand Jews in Arab lands left or were expelled and many of them came to Israel. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab Lands exceeded the number of Palestinian refugees.
Between 700,000 and 800,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from their homes in what became Israel during the 1948 War.
On the other hand, approximately 850,000 to 900,000 Jewish people were expelled from or fled Arab and Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East and North Africa during the 20th century, particularly around the 1948 establishment of Israel
These refugees, who faced persecution and lost assets, were largely resettled in Israel.
Major Jewish refugee populations originated from Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Syria, and Iran.
Around 650,000 (roughly 75%) of these refugees were absorbed into
Israel, with others settling in Europe and the Americas.

3:54 True statement. 12:17 My understanding is that the promised land is holy because that is where The Almighty hovered over Earth during day one of creation. Abraham (patriarch #20) was raised in the house of Noah (#10) and Shem (#11) after the flood event. Abraham rejected false gods and was protected and blessed for this. During Peleg's (#15) time, legal borders were drawn for the land that Noah's sons would inhabit. Canaan (Ham's grandchild) occupied the promised land illegally and eventually Abraham (Shem's descendant) was led to dwell in that land among the Canaanites. Jacob (#22) was to inherit the promised land and raised his sons in the land that was illegally occupied by the Canaanites. After what happened to Dinah, Shechem was destroyed and the Canaanite kings rose against the house of Jacob and the laws of the Almighty which came down through the patriarchs. Even though the Canaanites outnumbered Jacob's sons on the battlefield, Judah was the first to charge against the kings of Canaan followed by his brothers. Judah slew many kings and was blessed for his zeal as the line of kings on Earth. Of course famine happened and Egypt became a temporary place for the Hebrews (named for Eber, patriarch #14). The Almighty led them back to the promised land which unfortunately did not last for long until the exile. The promised land is still holy since creation and will be restored when Earth is renewed. I find it interesting that "Israel" is the name given to patriarch #22 which corresponds to the position of the very important final letter of the Hebrew alephbet. Israel represents completion.

All he is doing is driving people with Jewish Ancestry back to Judaism. If it wasn't for all the Anti-Semitism I would have never started trying to learn more to help defend Jewish people. I knew I had Jewish ancestry but didn't know about the 12 tribes and all the other stuff, my ancestors weren't even from the tribe of Judah but still come up as Ashkenazi with Polish and Lithiuanian on my mom's side
