It is impossible for water be higher than land. Water finds its level on the level earth. The earth is not a wet rock spinning in outer space vacuum. all civilizations before ours depicted it as an extended, stationary, level, topographical plane with land masses where human live surrounded by water that has boundaries as the Bible says. The boundary of the oceans is the very high land-and-ice mass of Antarctica which is not a continent on the bottom of a ball but an icy edge surrounding u. It holds the oceans in. Genesis 1 describes the earth as covered by a great firmament created on Day 2. Psalm 19 says it is stretched over the earth like a "tent to dwell in." Normally a prism makes a straight spectrum of colors, but the curved firmament produces a curved prism rainbow.
