Iyar is the 2nd month of the year stating from Nisan. On the 14th day of Iyar the Second Festival of Passover (Pesach) took place for those who due to distance had missed the first one.and had not come up to Jerusalem. Iyar in mainstream tradition (HaGra and Ha_Aruzal) was the month of Issachar. Others say of Simeon (HaRabad), or of Reuben (Midrash Peliah). Month of Healing: Iyar ( ) is considered a propitious time for healing. Its name is an acronym for the biblical phrase "Ani Hashem Rophecha"- "I am the LORD, your Healer". Chodesh Ziv: In the Bible, specifically in 1 Kings 6:1, it is called Ziv, meaning "radiance" or "splendor," referring to the blossoming of nature and the brilliance of the sun during this time. We understand that a Leader (or Leaders) will arise among the Lost Ten Tribes (LTTs). These will inform the LTTs of their Hebrew Ancestry. There may be wars and problems. Eventually the LTTs will return and receive their own Tribal Portion in the Land of Greater Israel. Also the Lands they now occupy, or parts of them, will be considered sections of the Promised Land.
