The King and President
by Donald Trump.
The King�s recent visit to the USA once again highlighted why constitutional monarchy (or �crowned democracy� as I like to put it) which often proves more effective than a republic system at fostering national unity.
Through his speeches and meetings, the King exercised soft power and influence in a way politicians are seemingly incapable of. Regardless of personal opinions about the King himself and his personal views, the institution he represents is far greater than any individual.
The moment that stood out for me when was watching politicians across the USA political spectrum - from Left to Right - rise together in applause, while the entire spectrum of the media eagerly listening to every word. It was a wonderful reminder that the monarchy serves as a unifying symbol in a manner that no elected head of state in a republic has ever truly matched.
Australia has a constitutional monarchy and without it, we would be an even more divided mess.
I sometimes wonder if monarchies will be revived around Europe and especially in Russia post-Putin?

where Trump praises �Anglo-Saxon courage� while welcoming the �mighty British Kingdom.�
During this address, Trump stated that American patriots in 1776 were heirs to a "majestic inheritance" and that their "veins ran with Anglo-Saxon courage". He added that these settlers carried an "English faith in standing firm for what is right, good, and true."
The term �Anglo-Keltic� should have been used instead of �Anglo-Saxon� due to the key role of the Kelts in America. After all, his mother was Scottish.

The Bible repeatedly describes Israel not only as restored but as a blessing to others. A
nation whose presence affects other nations positively and stabilizes rather than destabilizes.
Genesis 12 does not end with Abraham's blessing alone. It says, "And you will be a blessing." Right? That's how it's
usually translated. But that's an incorrect translation. It's you shall be a blessing. The word he is a command in
Hebrew, which he which is the meaning there in Genesis 12, does not mean you will be a blessing. He would be you will
be. He is a command. Everywhere it's used in the Bible, it's a command.
Abraham is being told to be a blessing to other nations and that is Israel's responsibility.
