Pt.3 of "The Tribe of Dan in Britain & Denmark", Isaiah ch.43. Jerome, ca. 400 CE, related a Jewish Tradition that Hebrews from Judah
AND from the Lost Ten Tribes had entered Europe via the Bosporos near Byzantium (Istanbul of Turkey). The Danes of Denmark had
a tradition that their ancestors, the Dana, had reached Scandinavia after crossing the Bosporus. The Welsh in Britain had a similar
message concerning their forefathers from the Children of Don.
The Tribe of Dan had two main sections each with its own characteristics.

Shabbat Shalom,
Firstly, thank you both for your years of effort, research, study & prayers....may they be a sweet fragrance in the nostrils of HaShem.
It is the Shabbat and while I know writing this today may appear disobedient, my heart is full of gratitude & peace.
Rabbi Yair, I am halfway through your title, "Ancestry," having completed both 'Hebrew Tribes' & 'Ephraim' ---- the resonance in my soul, family history & the 'emotive connection' (you write of in 'Ephraim') to support, even protect Judah, has been overwhelming.
This journey for me started in 2009, without elaborating in too much detail --.
My mother's people were of the McGregor Clan, outlawed for years in antiquity.....I was brought up with the clan motto. "S Rioghal Mo Dhream,"
meaning, "Royal is my Race."
Interestingly, the name Hunt: (paternal) "Hunt," is common in the western parts of the UK. (Robert Hunt author)
"Hunt" is also a common Estonian name, meaning 'wolf,' & pronounced, 'f-uu-nt.'
Perhaps connected to tribal movement???
My ancestor (apparently) William Holman Hunt was a pre-Raphaelite painter, who owned "Hunt House," on the Street of the Prophets in Jerusalem.....still there.
Another ancestor, E.B Pusey - was a Professor at Oxford University for 50yrs teaching --- ancient & modern Hebrew.
Names like, Daniel, Levy, Brian, Mervyn & Colin are in our family line - Hebrew/Celtic.
My prayer is that my son, ..will one day return, I'm not sure I can --- I hope that his hands would feel the outline of that wailing wall and that he would finally 'take us all home.'
