The Israelite Origins of Western Peoples:
"The Tribes" in itself is Strong Evidence!
We are preparing a new edition of "The Tribes."
Brit-Am/Hebrew Awareness identifies the Lost Ten Tribes with Western Peoples.
Specific Tribes were predominant in each country so that each one may be equated with one of the Tribes.
Some Tribes are found as prominent in more than one place and in some places we have more than one Tribe.
In most cases the equation of which Tribe to which Country is quite clear. There were a few polities where the correct identification was less certain but in general this was not a problem.
Here are the Tribes and their present-day equations:
Finland - Issachar
Norway - Naphtali
Netherlands - Zebulon
Beglium - Simeon, Benjamin
France - Reuben
Switzerland - Issachar
Ireland - Asher
Wales - Levi, Simeon, Manasseh.
Scotland and North Ireland - Manasseh, Judah
England - Ephraim
Canada - Ephraim
Australia - Ephraim
New Zealand - Ephraim
South Africa - Ephraim, Naphtali
USA - Manasseh
Britain and the USA represent the Tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) but there are many from the other Tribes within their domains.
The Bible (Numbers ch. 26, Genesis ch. 46, and other places) lists the Tribes and the 70-plus Clans that emanated from them. We find Names similar to those of the Tribes and Tribal Clans among Ethnic Groups and Tribes that were historically important among western peoples. In many places names from clans pertaining to a specific Tribe were found to be all (or nearly all) concentrated in the same place. This occurred even when the groups in question belonged to different Populations and had arrived separately from each other. Using the concentration of names we were able to identify where each Tribe became predominant. Using Biblical and Rabbinical sources we were able to form a Tribal Profile. We compared our results with those from the Names and usually found an amazing correspondence between the two. Additional evidence from other sources helped confirm our findings.
This in itself is Proof! This proves our case and it comes in addition to and in support of the overwhelming evidence that exists even without this!
It also strengthens our faith in Scripture and enhances our understanding of it and of Divine Providence in general.
