Yom Kippur and the Lost Ten Tribes. Obligations and Duties
Day of Atonement.
Eve of Yom Kippur Message.
17 September 2026, 6 Tishreil 5787.
(Adapted from Previous Years).
From sundown Sunday (20 September, 2026, Tishrei 5787) to Monday (21 September, 2026) is Yom Kippur, i.e. the Day of Atonement.
Leviticus 23:
26 AND THE LORD SPOKE TO MOSES, SAYING: 27 ALSO THE TENTH DAY OF THIS SEVENTH MONTH SHALL BE THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.
IT SHALL BE A HOLY CONVOCATION FOR YOU; YOU SHALL AFFLICT YOUR SOULS, AND OFFER AN OFFERING MADE BY FIRE TO THE LORD.
28 YOU SHALL DO NO CUSTOMARY WORK ON IT;AND YOU SHALL OFFER AN OFFERING MADE BY FIRE TO THE LORD.
Religious Jews fast all day on this day. They neither eat nor drink for about 25 hours. They do not work.
Much of the day is spent in prayer.
Some sleep part of the day.
By rights ALL Israelites including the Ten Tribes are probably obligated to observe this day.
Since However none of the descendants of the Ten Tribes can absolutely prove their descent from Israel
they are not obligated to observe it, for the time being.
At the end of the upcoming holy day of Yom Kippur the shofar will also be sounded.
This is the month of Tishrei on the Hebrew calendar and according to one tradition during this month the Ten Tribes will
return.
"AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, THAT THE GREAT TRUMPET [Hebrew: Shofar]
SHALL BE BLOWN, AND THEY SHALL COME WHICH WERE READY TO PERISH
(Hebrew: "Ovdim" also translatable as they who were lost") IN THE LAND OF ASSYRIA
(i.e. Lost Ten Tribes), AND THE OUTCASTS (i.e. Jewish Captives) IN THE LAND OF EGYPT,
AND SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD IN THE HOLY MOUNT AT JERUSALEM" [Isaiah 27:13].
[Isaiah 58:1] CRY ALOUD, SPARE NOT, LIFT UP THY VOICE LIKE A TRUMPET,
AND SHOW MY PEOPLE THEIR TRANSGRESSION, AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB THEIR SINS.
This is directed both to Israel and to Judah.
Yom Kippur (10th of Tishrei) is also the Biblical Birth-date according to the Hebrew Calendar of Yair Davidiy.
This year (5787) I will be 76.
I might be able to keep going for many more years stronger and stronger. Or I might not.
We spread knowledge of the Ten Tribes being among Western Peoples.
Over the past year our income lessened and our research work did not seem to be maintaining itself.
Nevertheless towards the end insights increased and important breakthroughs were realized.
We may still have much to contribute.
We also need more money to maintain ourselves and meet our obligations.
Who ever helps us will be blessed from on High.
Our studies of the Bible show that:
Mankind was told to be fruitful and multiply and conquer the earth. Adam and Eve sinned and all of humanity was punished.
A Deluge covered the earth from which only Noah and his family survived. All peoples alive today are descended from the Three Sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japhet.
Abraham was descended from Shem the son of Noah. God chose Abraham to be the instrument of His Will, to be blessed and to bring a blessing upon all peoples of the earth (12:2-3, 18:18-19, 22:18 cf. 24:4).
Abraham was promised that his seed would be extremely numerous (15:5, 22:17). He was assured that he would inherit the Land of Canaan (15:7, 17:8) from the Nile to the Euphrates (15:8).
Nations and Kings would emerge from Abraham (17:6).
Abraham begat from Hagar, the handmaiden of Sarah, Ishmael who was the forefather of many of the Arabs and is representative of the forces of Islam. Nevertheless the promised blessings were to come from Sarah.
Sarah the wife of Abraham was blessed that she would become a mother of nations and kings of peoples would come from her (17:16, 21):
This means the monarchs and leaders of several nations ruling at one and the same time.
Only Isaac the son of Abraham through Sarah would inherit the covenant of Abraham (17:19, 21:12).
One of the purposes of the promises was that through the blessings they would be enabled to do justice and judgment (18:19).
Abraham was tested with the binding (Akeda) of Isaac (Genesis ch. 22). He passed the examination.
Following the trial of the BINDING of Isaac the Blessings to Abraham were confirmed unconditionally (22:16) apart from inheriting the land.
The right to dwell in the Promised Land remained contingent upon Monotheism and obedience.
Isaac received the Blessing of Abraham.
Isaac begat Esau and Jacob.
Esau became the forefather of important nations and lineages on the world stage
Nevertheless the Blessing were give to Jacob who renamed Israel. He begat 12 sons forefathers of the Israelite Tribes.
The BLESSED SEED of Israel would prove temporarily incapable of being both Sacred and Profane i.e. of becoming great nations and also keeping the Covenant.
They would need to be divided into two.
Judah would have to keep the Law and consequently have first claim on the Land in the End Times. Spiritually and in the End Times, physically, Judah would lead the way for the others.
The other Tribes, represented by Joseph, would have to evolve in their own direction bringing the whole world more in line with Biblical Precepts.
This is what they did do more or less on a relative scale.
Now they are going off the track.
They are endangering themselves and Judah.
Judah is to some degree alone. Judah needs your help.
Judah needs Joseph to be himself and keep the Gentiles in line as well as providing a standard that the wayward leaders of Judah will also follow.
Joseph has to get himself in order.
So does Judah.
Unfortunately in these matters Judah tends to follow the example of Joseph.
The prophets mentioned this situation.
Each half of the two sides needs to recognize each other and themselves for what they are.
Joseph should lead all of the 10 Tribes to do what needs to be done.
Increased awareness of our Israelite origin is necessary.
The message needs to get out.
