The Names of Israel no.2. 21th October 2026, 10 Cheshvan 5787.
The 12 Tribes were destined to divide into 2 sections. One part was to become known as the “Jews’, the other part was the Ten Tribes. Each section had its own task and destiny in the world. Previously we showed how the term “HEBREW” (i.e. “Eber, Hiberi) etc.” had been used by the Israelite nation. According to one opinion it was especially pertinent to the Tribe of Joseph. This same name, “Iberi”, was later used by the so-called “Celtic” nations of the West. They referred to themselves as Iberi or Hiberi and numerous place names reflect this word root. In the British Isles we find such expression as “Hibernia” for Ireland, the Hebrides Islands, etc. Spain and Portugal are still referred to together as “Ibernia.”
After the Assyrians had exiled the Northern Tribes of Israel, they moved to the west and the north. Eventually they settled on the Western fringes of Europe. From there they colonized other areas such as North America. The Bible predicted these movements. The Tribes on the whole stayed together in the same places. Very often they may be traced by Tribal names. The Tribes of Israel were Judah, Issachar, Zebulon, Simeon, Reuben, Gad, Ephraim, Benjamin, Manasseh, Dan, Asher Naphtali.
Abrah, Isaac, and Jacob were the forefathers. Jacob was renamed Israel. There were 12 Tribes of Israel. They settled in the Land of Canaan. After that they went down to Egypt where they were oppressed. Moses led them up out of Egypt. On the journey back to Canaan they encamped around the Tabernacle which was the central place of worship. All the tribes were encamped around the Tabernacle. The order of their camping foreshadowed their future positions relative to each other during their time of Exile.

JUDAH, ISSACHAR, ZEBULON
3 THOSE CAMPING IN FRONT, TO THE EAST, WERE THE LEGIONS UNDER THE DIVISION OF THE CAMP OF JUDAH. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF JUDAH WAS NAHSHON THE SON OF AMMINADAB.
Judah is identifiable overwelmongly with the Jews. A small group from Judah maty also have given rise to the Jutes who from Denmark migrated to southern England.
5 CAMPING NEXT TO HIM, THE TRIBE OF ISSACHAR; THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF ISSACHAR WAS NETHANEL THE SON OF ZU'AR.
THE TRIBE OF ISSACHAR; THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF ISSACHAR WAS NETHANEL THE SON OF ZU'AR.
Issachar is found both in Finland and Switzerland.
7 [THEN] THE TRIBE OF ZEBULUN, AND THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF ZEBULUN WAS ELIAB THE SON OF HELON.
Zebulon is the Netherlands on the whole. Issachar and Zebulon were the sons of Zilpah the handmaiden of Leach while Judah was a son of Leah.
REUBEN, SIMEON, GAD
Numbers (TCJB) 3:
10 THE LEGIONS UNDER THE DIVISION OF THE CAMP OF REUBEN WERE TO THE SOUTH. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF REUBEN WAS ELITZUR THE SON OF SHEDEUR.
Reuben is France which land also includes other Tribes.
12 CAMPING NEXT TO HIM, THE TRIBE OF SIMEON. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF SIMEON WAS .SHELUMIEL THE SON OF ZURISHADDAI.
Simeon was found in Ireland, Wales, Brittany (France) and other areas.
14 [THEN] THE TRIBE OF GAD. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF GAD WAS ELIASAPH THE SON OF RE'UEL.
Gad was mainly associated with the people of Sweden and the original Goths many of whom were at one stage in France.
EPHRAIM, MANASSEH, BENJAMIN
18 THE LEGIONS UNDER THE DIVISION OF THE CAMP OF EPHRAIM WERE TO THE WEST. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF EPHRAIM WAS ELISHAMA THE SON OF AMIHUD.
Ephraim was mainly among the English-speaking peoples especially those associated more with Britian.
20 NEXT TO HIM, THE TRIBE OF MANASSEH. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF MANASSEH WAS GAMLIEL THE SON OF PEDAHZUR.
Manasseh helped giverise tot he USA which is built on the Principlr associated with Manasseh such as Responsible Representation and Democracy. Gilead was also a son of Manasseh and a portion of the Franch and Belgains (Galatae) came from them.
22 [THEN] THE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF BENJAMIN WAS ABIDAN THE SON OF GID'ONI.
Benjamin was found mainly among the Jews. Also among the Belgains (Belgae).
DAN, ASHER, NAPHTALI
25 THE LEGIONS UNDER THE DIVISION OF THE CAMP OF DAN WERE TO THE NORTH. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF DAN WAS AHIEZER THE SON OF AMMISHADDAI.
Dan gave rise tot he Danes and a prtion of the Irish.
27 CAMPING NEXT TO HIM WAS THE TRIBE OF ASHER. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF ASHER WAS PAGIEL THE SON OF OCRAN.
Asher is found among the Irish. Nial the Irish High-King (from whom many of the royal dynasties came) may have been from Asher.
29 [THEN] THE TRIBE OF NAPHTALI. THE PRINCE OF THE CHILDREN OF NAPHTALI WAS AHIRA' THE SON OF 'ENAN.
Naphtali was found among the Norwegians.
